06 Additional Norquay Papers

Friesen’s notes on a related but entirely distinct document collection, mostly donated by the Norquay family in the 1940s and 1950s. These files arrived in the archives before the Norquay Premier’s Papers donation and probably came from a variety of sources, including the Norquay family. The main items include documentation of the 1879 Manitoba delegation to Ottawa, the Norquay family genealogy, John Norquay’s estate, the Norquay children’s land grants, and copies of letters from Norquay to a resident of Orkney.
