Abstract
There is still much uncertainty that exists on the formation of tornadoes and how their development can manipulate the surrounding atmospheric environment. The goal of this research is to assess any impacts that tornado development may have on lightning flash variability and on the altitude changes of radar reflectivity (dBZ) altitude returns over time. Identifying any emerging trends could help improve forecaster confidence for tornado warnings and lead times in the future.Poster
