Abstract
The aim of this research project is to determine whether environmental assessment follow-up effectively empowers Inuit self-determination in decision-making around extractive development. By examining Inuit concerns surrounding the contentious Mary River Iron Mine in Nunavut, the current follow-up process in place for communities to engage will be assessed.Poster
